I like all my students to come prepared to class with the following items:
- A recording device
- All music we are currently working on
- Pencil/highlighter to mark up your music
- Warm up and vocal exercises papers
- Folder/Binder to keep all your past music and repertoire
- The following books are great for all singers and I encourage all my students to purchase a copy for themselves:
- Musical Theater Anthology for Young Singers
- 36 Songs for Young Singers
The attached links have access to warm ups, songs and accompaniment for you to practice with. Please bring a digital device with you to all classes that will let you record yourself so you can listen back to them and practice with it.
What I ask of you:
- Do vocal warm-ups & exercises every day for at least 10 minutes
- Practice all the songs assigned to you every day
- Listen to different style of singing and be willing to try new things
